Bonnie's Disclaimer

Sizes
Please note, I do not make King Size quilts...they are simply too large for me to handle.  Sizes given may vary somewhat but generally are at least the noted dimensions.  "Kitty Cat" sizes are also great for wall hangings, and any size quilt can be made with a hanging sleeve for display on a wall.

Time to Create
Also of great importance!  I must have sufficient time to complete a quilt.  I do have an office job and at present do not have unlimited hours for sewing.  Please do not request, for instance, a queen size quilt for Aunt Barbara's birthday next week, nor a baby quilt for the shower that's tomorrow that you forgot about!  Simpler designs, of course, take less time than more detailed ones, and I prefer doing simpler designs if the quilt is to be used often.  It breaks a quilter's heart to discover that a quilt for which she labored to put together 3,000 pieces is being used to dry the dog after his bath.

Right to Refuse
I do reserve the right to refuse an order and will do so if my workload begins to exceed my time, if a requested theme is offensive in any way, or if the design requested will take excess time to complete.  I will not attempt a design that is beyond my skill levels, as I will not sell you, my customer, something that may look like a "practice lesson."  If I am not happy with my own work, I will notify you, and you will have the option of canceling the order (without cost to you) or of giving me extra time to begin again.  Prices may change slightly without notice if my own costs increase, though any order already contracted for a specified price will be completed at that price, regardless.

Fabric Availability | Colors | Matching
No two quilts can ever be exactly alike, so in choosing a quilt design from the gallery, please do not expect yours to be a complete match.  The availability of certain fabric patterns and even colors changes as often as the latest dress fashions do, and those available this spring will not be available this fall!  If you are ordering a quilt by snail-mail or e-mail, I will ask you to go to the paint counter in your local store and pick up paint swatches in the colors and shades you would like your quilt and mark your preferences and mail these to me.  You can also send fabric swatches rather than tell me "sage green" when what you had in mind was chartreuse.  There can never, ever be exact matches, so a second choice is helpful, as well as knowing how closely you want the colors matched.  Again, it is impossible to exactly match colors and some leeway is absolutely imperative.  Fabrics available in your area may not be in mine, so if you've found something at your local store that you love, it is safest to buy it there and send it to me, rather than hope that I can get it here.  I will work with you in every way that I can to provide what you want.
